Utrecht Summer School “Science and Values: Historical and Philosophical Perspectives”, 25-29 July 2022

Against the background off current academic and public debates as well as global challenges, the summer school focuses on the role of values in and of science and their relevance in past and present scientific practice. It explores this topic by focusing on three thematic lines: (1) Science, pseudoscience, and non-science; (2) Interdisciplinarity and (3) Complexity and uncertainty. At the summer school, each thematic line will be studied in support of one international expert (see below). The school will host international Master (and early PhD students) with a background in history and philosophy of science (and related fields).
