One postdoc position and two PhD positions at the Universities of Hamburg and Bern

Beyond Causal Exclusion: New Challenges for Multi-Level Causal Models is a research project funded by the German Research Foundation and the Swiss National Science Foundation. The project is based in Bern, Switzerland, and Hamburg, Germany. The PIs of the project are Vera Hoffmann-Kolss (Bern) and Thomas Kroedel (Hamburg). The aim of the project is to develop a theory of causal modeling that can adequately describe causal structures that span multiple levels (such as the physical, biological, and psychological levels).

The project is inviting applications for the following positions:

– one three-year postdoc position in Hamburg

– one three-year PhD position in Hamburg

– one three-year PhD position in Bern
